The Center of Contemporary Art – Tbilisi is an independent, non-profit, interest-based institution. It functions as a platform where professionals, curators, artists, students, and people simply interested in art connect and collaborate.

|Focus on Education 

 

One thing that makes CCA - Tbilisi stand out between the wide array of Art Centers is it's focus on education. it could be said that CCA-Tbilisi's exceptionality is mainly constituted by its educational program called Creative Mediation. Being the most inovative way of informal teaching in our region, Creative mediation has been the main aspect of CCA - Tbilisi's activity for more than a decade.

|Statistics  

 

Educational projects, exhibitions, publishments, international and/or regional public projects implemented in 2010-2023: 

• More than 300 exhibitions, showcasing works of more than 1000 Georgian and international artists; 
• 180 graduates; More than 90 people have benefited from the exhange programs provided by the Center of Contemporary Art in more than 10 countries; 
• 50 publications and research projects; 
• Open library with more than 6,000 unique international publications on contemporary visual art and culture; 
• Up to 500 different types of public events (workshops / seminars / public lectures / showings / presentations) 
• More than 100 international partners and donor organizations.

CCA-Tbilisi’s main goal is to support the development of contemporary art in Georgia and the Caucasus region
